EPR RANKS AMONG HIGHEST-SCORING BUSINESSES ON INC. MAGAZINE’S ANNUAL LIST OF BEST WORKPLACES FOR 2021

TOMBALL, TEXAS (May 12, 2021) Ecosystem Planning and Restoration (EPR) has been named to Inc. magazine’s annual list of the Best Workplaces for 2021. Hitting newsstands May 18 in the May/June 2021 issue, and as part of a prominent Inc.com feature, the list is the result of a wide-ranging and comprehensive measurement of American companies that have created exceptional workplaces and company culture whether teams are operating in person or remotely.

At Ecosystem Planning and Restoration, we strive to create a family atmosphere in which employees’ personal lives are respected. We provide flexible work schedules, bonus plans tied to company performance, unlimited sick time, and a matching 401(k) retirement plan. To foster professional growth, we provide internal and external training opportunities and continuing education.

Collecting data from thousands of submissions, Inc. singled out 429 honorees across the U.S. this year. Each nominated company took part in an employee survey, conducted by Quantum Workplace, on topics including management effectiveness, perks, and fostering employee growth. The organization’s benefits were also audited to determine the company’s overall score and ranking.

At EPR, we strive to create an exciting and challenging work environment that keeps people growing, yearning to do more, learn more, and excel. 2020 created a unique opportunity to focus on Team. It made everyone strive for creative ways to keep the company together while being forced to create distance, all while continuing to provide high quality services and products to our clients. The EPR Team faced all challenges head on without hesitation. Our focus was to keep folks busy, maintain a family environment and keep people safe, but continue to build for the future. EPR evaluated new markets and new service lines, creating opportunities for our staff to work in new states with new clients developing larger and more challenging projects. The employees of EPR build and grow our culture, making it the best place to work. Sonny Kaiser, Principal

The definition of a positive workplace has changed drastically over the past year, says Inc. magazine editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk. Stocked fridges and nap pods were no longer perks many companies could rely on once work went remote. So, this year’s list is even more important as it reveals organizations that continue to enrich the lives of its employees amid a pandemic.

Ecosystem Planning and Restoration (EPR) was created in 2012 to be a premier environmental planning and ecosystem restoration company. As a small business focusing on ecosystem restoration and environmental services, their desire is to provide the highest quality products, and to improve the science and application of stream, wetland, and terrestrial restoration through innovative projects and applied research. EPR staff has assessed, planned, and designed ecosystem restoration projects throughout the United States, representing a wide range of conditions and challenges. Their experience is unmatched and includes the design of hundreds of stream and wetland restoration projects, construction management, watershed planning, monitoring, and the applied research to continually advance restoration science. Additionally, EPR staff has conducted a full range of environmental planning, compliance support, and analyses and documentation as part of the NEPA process.
