UT Flat Creek RSC Stream Restoration
As a committed community partner in the Chesapeake Bay region, EPR is working diligently with our clients to address water quality issues and do our part to help improve the Bay. The restoration of approximately 3,800 feet of UT Flat Creek is a great example. EPR worked with the Client to restore a badly degraded stream system and reduce sediment and nutrient outputs to streams entering the Bay. The project incorporated a regenerative stormwater conveyance (RSC) approach that provides stability and encourages infiltration to maximize the water quality benefits of the project.
